Step 1) Go to https://password.cscc.edu and Log in (a) or click Forgot Your Username / Password (b) above the Log In button

a) Log In - do this if you know your current password, and it is not expired.

b) Forgot Your Username / Password - if you have forgotten your password, or it has expired.

Choosing this will prompt you to verify your identity by:

  1. Entering your Cougar ID number or full Social Security Number and then your last name.
*Enter your last name in all lowercase letters, and if your last name has a hyphen or space, leave them out.

  2. Answering your security questions.
    * Answer in all lowercase letters and leave no spaces between words.

Step 2) Once authenticated, you will see this page to set a new password and/or secret questions:

  1. If your secret questions are filled in, and you still know the answers, you can just fill in the New Password and Retype New Password boxes.

  2. If there are any secret questions you don't know the answer to, you can change those as well.

The current password complexity requirements are:

  • Password has not been used before
  • Password is 8 or more total characters
  • It begins with a letter
  • 1 or more upper case letter
  • 1 or more lower case letter
  • 1 or more numbers
  • No special characters

Step 3) Click the Update button at the bottom to save changes.

Once your password is updated, you must also update your password on any wireless devices connected to CSCC's wireless network. You must also update your password if you sync email/calendar.
