Zoom: Change your Display Name / Pronouns for Meetings

What is a display name / pronouns?

display name is your name that shows to other participants and hosts in a Zoom meeting.

Your pronouns, when added to your user profile, can be automatically shown next to your display name in meetings. (To learn more about why to use pronouns, visit myprounouns.org)

Changing your display name

When you're signed in to Zoom, the name you have on file with Columbus State will auto-populate in the name field. This can be changed manually each time you join a meeting, or you can permanently change your default display name by setting a new chosen name with the college.

You can change your display name before joining or during a meeting, but it will reset to your name on file with Columbus State after each meeting.
