Zoom Troubleshooting: Update to Fix Issues

Ways to check for updates

Zoom regularly provides updates to address any bugs and add features.  When there is a mandatory update, you will see a notification asking you to update. It is always recommended you update as soon as possible. If there is an update that's not mandatory, you can check for updates manually.

First, log into the Zoom Client on your computer (see Log in to Zoom for more details on signing in).

Option 1:

If there is a banner at the top of Zoom saying a new version is available, click on the Update button.

Option 2:

Click on your picture in the upper-right corner, then select Check for Updates.
