Zoom: Install and Log in

Written Instructions

1. In your web browser, go to https://zoom.us/download and click the Download (64-bit) button under “Zoom Workplace for Windows"
    
2. Save the ZoomInstallerFull.exe file to somewhere convenient on your computer. Once the installer file has finished downloading, find it on your computer then double-click its icon to launch it. - Zoom Workplace Installer will pop up and install Zoom.
    
3. Shortly, an “installation was successful” window should pop up. Click the checkbox next to Automatically keep Zoom desktop client up to date, then click the Done button in the lower-right corner.

• Note: When you go to https://zoom.us/download, you will click the Download button corresponding to your Mac's processor under Zoom Workplace for Mac.
  

 Not sure which processor your Mac has? Click here.

To learn what processor is in your Mac, go to the Apple menu, then select About This Mac. Look under the Processor to see if it says Intel or Apple.

For Chrome OS, Zoom uses a Progressive Web App (PWA) which leverages web-based technology to deliver a native desktop experience. 

The PWA can be installed from the Google Play store (click the link or search for ‘Zoom PWA’ or ‘Zoom for Chrome PWA’ in the Play store) and will appear as an application on your Chrome OS device. 

1. Launch the Google Play Store from the Chromebook shelf at the bottom of the screen.
   
2. In the Google Play Store, search for Zoom for Chrome – PWA. On the store page for it, click the Install button to the far right.
   
3. Once the installation is complete, click the Open button.
