Microsoft 365: Online Access

Access to Microsoft 365 is only available to current Columbus State Students and Employees. When you are no longer enrolled in CSCC courses or stop receiving a CSCC paycheck, the Microsoft 365 applications installed on your device become inactive

Access Office 365

  1. Open a web browser, such as Chrome or Firefox 
     
  2. Navigate to  https://portal.office.com
     
  3. Once you are on the Sign in screen, log in using your email address and password (same password that you use for Self-Service and Blackboard)
  • Student - username@student.cscc.edu  
  • Employee - username@cscc.edu

  1. Click the Microsoft application icon that meets your needs on the left side of the screen. If you don't see what you're looking for there, click the Apps icon.
  • Outlook: office email and appointment scheduling
  • Teams: virtual meeting space for your team
  • Word: document creation
  • Excel: spreadsheets and calculations
  • PowerPoint: presentations
  • OneNote: create and share notes for better collaboration

Switching between Apps

  1. In any Office 365 application, click on the Waffle icon () on the top left corner of the screen:

  2. Click the Office Application link that you wish to switch to
