Blackboard Ultra: Collaborative Tools

If your instructor enabled class conversations for some individual content items, you can discuss the content with your instructor and classmates. You can ask for help, share sources, or answer questions others have. As the conversation develops, it appears only with the relevant content. Conversations don't appear on the discussions page.

In discussions, you can share thoughts and ideas about class materials.

Instructors can create groups of students within courses. Groups usually consist of a small number of students for study groups or projects.

A journal provides a personal space for you to communicate privately with your instructor.

You can send messages to your instructors, other classmates, and group members. Messages activity remains inside the system, and you don't have to worry about email addresses that may be incorrect or outdated.
