Make recordings

Zoom meetings can be recorded. Locate the record button in the meeting controls to start or stop your recording.

If you are an instructor (or other licensed user), recording to the cloud is recommended. Cloud recordings will be available later to view, download, or share in your Zoom account. To learn more, visit Zoom's Support article: Starting a cloud recording

All users with a Columbus State Zoom account have the option to record to their computer. To learn more, visit Zoom's Support article here: Managing your computer recordings

Note: if you don't see Record to the Cloud as an option, you may not have the licensing for it. Learn more: Zoom: Account Types and Roles


Access cloud recordings

To view Zoom cloud recordings, go to cscc-edu.zoom.us/recording and sign in with your CSCC username and password.

Note: if your page looks different than the image above, toggle the Try the new Experience option at the top.

 

  1. In the menu on the left, select Recordings and Transcripts - a list of your Cloud Recordings will appear.
    • To view Computer RecordingsMy notes recordings, or Shared with me, click on the corresponding tab under the Recordings header.

  2. Select a recording from the list to view more options: Download / Copy Sharable link / Add to Zoom Clips / Delete
