Zoom: Account Types and Roles

Zoom Accounts

There are two types of Zoom accounts that the college distributes: 

• Education Standard Student (Basic)
  • 40-minute meeting limit
  • Recordings must be saved to the local computer
  • Non-instructor staff and all students receive this license
     
• Zoom Workplace for Education Standard (Licensed)
  • 30-hour meeting limit
  • Records can be saved to cloud storage or the local computer
  • Instructors (adjuncts, fulltime instructors) receive this license
