Zoom Accounts

There are two types of Zoom accounts that the college distributes:

• Basic - Zoom Meetings Basic License
  • Non-instructor staff and all students receive this license
  • 40-minute meeting limit
  • Recordings must be saved to the local computer
     
• Full - Zoom Workplace for Education Standard License
  • Instructors (adjuncts, full-time instructors) receive this license
  • 30-hour meeting limit
  • Recordings can be saved to cloud storage or the local computer

Note: Instructors may get downgraded to a basic license if they go a full term without authenticating or hosting a meeting. They can sign in to Zoom to reclaim their full license at: https://cscc-edu.zoom.us/
