What is Outlook?

The Microsoft Outlook application can be used to access Columbus State email on your computer or other device.


Install / Update Outlook

Install Microsoft Office 365 by logging in to office.com with your Columbus State credentials.

Using Office 365, you will be automatically updated to new versions of Microsoft Office as they become available so you don't have to worry about it becoming out of date.

 


Outlook Setup

  1. Open the Outlook Application.

  2. Enter your full Columbus State email address
    • Students - [username]@student.cscc.edu
    • Employees - [username]@cscc.edu

      If you don't know your username or password, read the article: Discover My Login Name / Password

  3.  A window will pop-up with the Columbus State background. Enter your password to log in (this is the same password as for email and Blackboard).
     
    • If you are enrolled in multi-factor authentication (MFA) for Office 365, you will now be presented with the request for additional information. Select your preferred method to receive the MFA request.

  4. The Outlook inbox will open and begin to sync all emails, contacts, and calendar events. This may take several minutes to complete, don't worry if things are missing at first.
