Blackboard: Not loading in Safari

Blackboard not loading

If you are on a Mac or iPhone and when you log into Blackboard and just see the spinning wheel- you may be on an older version of Safari.

Blackboard no longer functions for users of Safari version 16 and older. Blackboard only supports "two most recent major versions," which are versions 17 and 18.

How do I fix it?

If you are getting having this issue, you will need to do one of the following:

 

Option 1: Upgrade your iOS/macOS, if possible

Option 2: Use an alternative browser such as Chrome or Firefox

 

Option 3: Use a virtual desktop or campus computer lab

 

Option 4: Use the Blackboard app
