Having sound problems?

If you are having trouble hearing the sound from a conference room with a soundbar, and have already checked the volume. Here are some other things to try.

This article is for Columbus State conference rooms with soundbars only. For other sound issues, see the article: Not hearing sound in classroom.


1) Select sound device

  1. Click on the Start Menu, then the Settings
  2. Locate the Sound settings and select devices as follows:
    1. Output - choose output device Echo Cancelling Speakerphone
    2. Input - choose input device Echo Cancelling Speakerphone

2) Disable audio enhancements

  1. Go back into sound settings.
     
  2. Locate the Device Properties for the Output Device.

  3. Locate the Additional Device Properties.
     
  4. Click the advanced tab for the device.
     
  5. Make sure the "Enable audio enhancements" is unchecked.
