Workday: Action Items and Holds

What are Action Items and Holds?

  • Action Items are assigned tasks requiring user completion (submitting documents, signing agreements, or onboarding steps) that are required to get you registration-ready.
     
  • Holds are restrictions placed on a user's account until specific requirements are met.
     
  • Both are accessed via the My Tasks () or Academics Hub.


How to find Action Items and Holds

In your Workday Profile, select Action Items and Holds on the left.  

  • Note: By selecting the Click here to sort option, you can filter the active holds by reason, type, and if it was overridden.
