What are Action Items and Holds?
- Action Items are assigned tasks requiring user completion (submitting documents, signing agreements, or onboarding steps) that are required to get you registration-ready.
- Holds are restrictions placed on a user's account until specific requirements are met.
- Both are accessed via the My Tasks () or Academics Hub.
How to find Action Items and Holds
In your Workday Profile, select Action Items and Holds on the left.

Note: By selecting the Click here to sort option, you can filter the active holds by reason, type, and if it was overridden.
