If your computer doesn't have a built in Wi-Fi receiver, the network icon in the tray won't show any network options. In order to connect to your internet, you can use a USB Wi-Fi adapter.
Set up Wi-Fi adapter
- Plug the adapter into any available USB port on your computer.
- Then click on the network icon, and you will see all available Wi-Fi networks
- Select your wireless network from the list.
- You can check the Connect automatically box if you want to always connect, then click Connect.
- Enter the password for your wireless network, then click Connect.
You are now connected to the internet.
