Reset Insight Channel for Classrooms

  1. Open Faronics Insight Tech Console 
    1.  You will get a CheckGroupMembership error and the machines will be locked out for a couple of minutes
      error dialog 
      Manage menu open showing some of the menu items greyed out
    2. After a couple of minutes, refresh the console
    3. Once the console is unlocked, proceed to step 2
  1. Sort the list by Machine Name
     
  2. Find the lab in question (example: BF147)
     
  3. Highlight all machines in the lab (see screenshot)

  4. Go to the Manage menu and select Change Student Channel…

  5. Type the correct channel into the popup box and click OK

  6. A Remote Credentials box will pop up 

    1. Enter your credentials
    2. Type CSCC in the Domain name field 
    3. Click OK
                                       
  7. The box will close and reset the channel for the lab
    list view shows channel is reset for highlighted machines
