SharePoint List: Red dot by view name in List

  • Close all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Open the Windows task manager and look for "OneDrive" and “Microsoft SharePoint (Microsoft.SharePoint.exe)” under Processes > Background Processes. End both tasks.
  • Open File Explorer and go to these folders: %localappdata%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\OfficeFileCache and C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneDrive\ListSync
  • Delete all the files and folders in the OfficeFileCache folder and ListSync folder and subfolders.
  • Restart the Microsoft Office applications and try to sync the list again.
