Jabber: Off-Campus Phone Access

What is Jabber?

Cisco Jabber is a communication platform that allows employees to access their CSCC phone number from a browser-based or mobile app solution. It can be used to make and receive calls, as well as access voicemail. A headset or microphone and speakers are required when using Jabber on a PC or Mac.

When using Jabber, set up E911 in case of emergency calls: E911 Remote Location Manager (RLM)
