How to Setup Microsoft Bookings

What is Bookings?

Microsoft Bookings makes scheduling and managing appointments a breeze. Bookings includes a web-based booking calendar; it integrates with Outlook to optimize your staff’s calendar and give your customers flexibility to book a time that works best for them. Automated notification emails reduce no-shows and enhance customer satisfaction.


Accessing Microsoft Bookings

  1. Sign in to portal.office.com with your Columbus State account and click on the All Apps icon in the lower left corner

  2. Select Bookings to open Microsoft Bookingslist of Microsoft apps with "Bookings" highlighted

The first time you open the app, you'll see the home page, which includes tabs on the left to navigate between pages and several prominent tiles that guide you through setup and introduce new features.

Step 1: Enter your business information

Step 2: Set your scheduling policies

Step 3: Define your service offerings

Step 4: Create your staff list

Step 5: Set employee working hours

Step 6: Schedule business closures, time off, and vacation time

Step 7: Publish or unpublish your booking page

Step 8: Create and staff your bookings
